BOAT OWNER'S COMMENTARY.
REGAL Velocity 23. the Regal Velocity was developed from molds bought by Regal from Velocity Power Boats.
They added an integrated swim platform with through hull exhaust, and the Regal Velocity 23 was born.
At 23'-6", and a beam of 8 feet, This 23' footer is a perfect entry level GO-Fast.
A 365 horse 454 mag/bravo1 power package propel this boat past 65 miles an hour and cruise at 40. the engine has 528 hours,and the oil, filters, and gear oil are changed more often than mercruiser recommends.
Precise handling is achieved with help from full hydraulic steering by Latham Marine.
Bennet Sport Tabs help keep it planted, and allow you to adjust for changing conditions.
The cockpit has full instrumentation and the throttle and shifter sticks are from kiekhaufer.
A Blaupunkt am fm/cd with an amp and 8" subs will have people around you at the island dancing to your music.
When anchored in the shallows, the swim platform is just inches above the water, and provides easy access to the water when you want to cool off.
Back on board, the sun pad over the engine hatch provides a good place to soak up the sun. there is ample storage under one half of the rear seat, and there is a clever built in cooler under the other half. there is also storage in the gunnel trays.
The front bucket seats swivel to allow views off the back of the boat.
A bifold door leads to the cuddy cabin.
There are facing lounge seats, and a hidden porta potty.
A V- Berth will sleep two, and provide plenty of storage for water toys.
Meticulously cared for, the engine is flushed after each use, the entire boat washed, and rests covered on a tandem axle trailer.
