BOAT OWNER'S NOTES:
This boat was built by me to single hand the South Pacific.
I took off in 2005 for the Marquesas alone and the 2nd night out I ran over a grey whale and one of the rudders was torn off so I motorsailed into Newport Oregon.
I built and replaced the rudder but winter came so I brought it back home and since then both my knees have been replaced so the boat is now up for sale.
The boat came be boarded from the water up the ouboard rudders.
The cockpit is 8 ft across and has a full width seat with a hatch for the engine well.
There's a large wheel in the fwd part of the cockpit jjust aft of the Mast.
The cockpit has a full enclosure that can be left up offshore or folded.
The interior can be accessed on either side of the cockpit down two stairs.
The starboard side has the galley forward with an alcohol stove and a sink with a fresh and salt water foot pump, aft of the stairs is a water tank with the water maker above and then aft of that is a double bed stateroom, there is standing headroom all the way.
On the port side there is a navigation station with vhf and fold down stool and sit at the desk.
Fwd of this is the head with a raritan PhII toilet and and sink witjh foot pump. aft of the stairs is another water tank with starting batery, converter and inverter above.
Aft of that is another identical double stateroom.
There is 8 ft between the galley side and the navigation desk.
This had about 40 inches of height with a table that uses the nacel like a third hull that works for footroom.
This can drop down for another double bunk on the bridge deck.
The boat is built of Ocume ply that is epoxy glassed with 6 oz cloth and 2 part polyurathane on the outside and clear coat epoxy on the inside.
There is a total of 63 gallons of water in three tanks.
The aluminum mast was done by spar teck, sails by neil pride with furling jib and genoa, fully bataned main and unused cruising spinaker with sock.
The engine is a yamaha high thrust 8 with hydraulic lift.
There is a monitor wind vane for steering at sea and a raymarine auto pilot for local waters.
