Having spent most of her life in fresh water, Odyssee was bought by the current owners to complete the Great Loop.
After a trip from New Orleans to thier SC home, they spent a year upgrading and customizing her at their dock.
Custom features include; galley up, computer/navigation desk, laundry/storage area and garbage compactor.
A new teak and holly sole with sound shielding under was installed and custom Plantation shutters were built.
Many custom features were added to the cockpit area including a U-shaped padded bench seat.
All custom woodwork is per the original Hatteras specifications including using Afromosha trim and teak plywood and perfectly matches the old.
The current owners completed the Great Loop and enjoyed it so much they also completed the Down East Loop, a total of approxamately 16,000 miles.
