Nearly half a century ago in Singapore, American Marine chose the timeless and beautiful lines of the Motor Yacht trawler as the platform for what remains a modern icon of yachts; only 150 Motor Yachts of this design were built.
This 49’ Grand Banks Motor Yacht built in 1987 has been located in the Virgin Islands since 1991, This yacht has cruised the Mediterranean for 18 months and has cruised as far as Istanbul.
The yacht is equipped with both American Power and European power, There is a 220 volt 50 cycle battery charger located in the engine room.
The heavy fiberglass construction, large fuel and water capacity and a water maker along with all the extra amenities make this yacht a comfortable cruising yacht and live aboard, There is a large inventory of spare parts for the main engines, generators and other equipment on board.
Included is a spare set of propellers and a spare tail shaft.
This 3 cabin style with a walk around queen berth aft and two large guest berths forward
makes for a perfect family yacht, Each cabin has a complete head, vanity and shower.
The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the starboard aft head.
The Aft heads flush with freshwater, The forward head is salt water flush.
The port side galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave and propane gas range oven and ice maker.
This Grand Banks has been used solely as a private yacht and has never been on charter.
