41 foot Nova Scotia designed and built fishing vessel.
This is a traditionally designed vessel with a high bow, distinctive shear and relatively shallow draft.
The vessel is diesel powered with a dry exhaust and keel coolers.
Currently set up for the inshore scallop fishery with a steel mast and boom for handling the scallop drag.
Also good for lobster fishing.
Can be easily converted to a personal yacht.
Focsle is nicely furnished.
Forward is a double vee berth with single bunks above.
Aft of the berth on the port side is a drop leaf table.
The aft end of the double serves as a settee.
Aft of the table on the port side is a Sherman cast iron oil stove for heat.
It is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust stack through the cabin top.
Mounted to the aft side of the cabin bulkhead is a cylindrical stainless steel fuel tank for the stove.
On the center line, against the aft cabin bulkhead is a counter with a stainless steel sink and a two burner propane stove.
Against the starboard side of the bulkhead is a storage locker.
The hull sides have a varnished ceiling the entire length of the forward cabin.
The main companionway has a sliding hatch which can be closed.
Machinery:
Cummins VT-255 180 hp diesel with a Borg-Warner 73 series 2:1 reverse gear.
The main engine is located in the pilot house under an engine box.
The box has a removable top for daily oil and water checks.
